About Jaime

I’ve been writing for various publishers since the fall of 2008, although I’ve been writing for myself far longer. I’m often asked why men? What’s so fascinating about writing stories about men falling in love? It’s never been an easy question to answer. I just always have written stories about men, and as I reached the age where I started to fall in love (and that happened on a fairly regualr basis, and not always with men, myself) my characters grew along with me. For a long time, I thought I was pretty odd. A lot of people who know me are raising eyebrows right about now, and to them, I say: “I wasn’t asking you.” :)

When I discovered the internet, in the form of text chat rooms in university, and that‘s as close an aproximation on age as you’re going to get, I realized I was not the only one who had this fascination. There were other writers out there writing the stories I wanted to read, and reading the kind of stories I was writing. Sometime between then and now, an author was born.

Right now, you can find my work here, for starters. If you flip through the pages of my site, you’ll find pleanty of free reading. I also write for Freya’s Bower, Loveyoudivine Alterotica, Pink Petal Books, Dreamspinner Press and Total E-Bound. You’ll find links at the bottom of this post.

When I’m not writing, I’mprobably reading, and you can find all kinds of opinoins (other people call them reviews, but let’s call a spadeĀ  spade and acknowledge that I like to spout my opinion) about what I read on Goodreads, at Dark Diva Reviews, Black Raven’s Reviews, and Kuriousity, a manga and yaoi review site.

Spare time, when it can be found rolled into a ball at the back of the dryer or cavorting with the dust bunnies in the corners, I like to spend in the garden, at the loom, or with a pencil and sketch book. I did graduate from college with a Fine Arts diploma, with a major in textile arts, which basically qualifies me to draw pictures and create things with string and fabric. Fun times.

So, browse around, have a read, buy a book, if you feel so inclined, and do let me know what you think. I’d love to hear from you.

    Hey, I remember those text rooms! And you would sit bleary eyed typing away with folks in a computer lab, usually on some kind of terminal screen that was black with bright green font. Oh my. I dating myself. Pay no attention to me. I got the English degree because I love to write, then realized I couldn’t make any money at it. :D You have gotten a hell of a lot further than I have, and it’s because your writing is awesome!

    Are you going to do anymore books in the Tales From Rainbow Alley Series? I personally loved all the books in this series. I don’t know why the MM books interest me the most but I like them and am always looking for books in this genre. I read all types of books in all genres from shifters to Claire Thompson and her hard biting BDSM. Crazy I know but I just love to read a good book. Thankyou for sharing your love for writting with all of us who are fans. Sheila

      Hi, Sheila;

      Absolutely. i have at least two more Rainbow Alley novels in the works, as well as a few shorter stories/novellas. I know what you mean about the m/m books being intriguing. I guess it’s obvious I think the same :) Thanks so much for your support, and watch my coming soon page for more details on the Rainbow Alley books and my other releases.
