What I find distressful is that ther was so much more to oth those men that just that they we gay. They were generous, talented, happy people. I would have loved to sha those things.

And that is sad, Stacie. Not that he created an accepting and loving family, I’m sure my uncles did the same, but that he had to leave behind the one that should have been there for him. Too bad they didn’t see his successes and victories, but only that one feature of the landscape of who he is and let that define their vision of him.
